At Bloq.it we take sustainability seriously which is why we are planting trees for each smart locker that we install.

It’s a win win! Not only as smart lockers environmentally friendly and cut down fuel usage from delivery services, but the planting of trees also stores CO2 and restores ecosystems.

Planting trees is the most tangible and cost effective way of fighting the climate crisis in the long term. Trees help to restore ecosystems and biodiversity, alleviate poverty for vulnerable communities and store CO2 in their trunks, roots and branches. And that’s why we love them so much.

How are we benefiting local communities?

Creating the Bloq Forest is also about collaborating with local people and working together for a better tomorrow. It’s all part of our wider mission to Make Today Matter.

So far, we’ve been able to provide over - days of work for villagers in the countries where we’re planting trees.

We want our project to be truly sustainable, which means contributing to communities as well as improving the environment.
That’s why we’re committed to working with local partners everywhere we’re planting the Bloq.it Forest.

What does the future look like?

By 2022 our Bloq.it Forest will be fully planted. In its lifetime, it will capture an incredible -K tonnes of CO2.

That’s enough to offset the footprint of - houses. Or * return flights from London to Gibraltar.
