Team ITG is now carbon neutral

Working in partnership with Brynk, Team ITG have already planted
1 million trees in the space of just a year, which will absorb over half a million tonnes of CO
2 over their lifetime.

Making a difference where it matters most

The Team ITG Forest won’t just absorb CO2. It will support local communities as they grapple with the enormous impact of climate change.

Mangrove trees planted at our main site in Boanamary, Madagascar, will create new breeding grounds for fish and other sea creatures, providing a vital source of food and income. They also prevent rainwater from running off into the sea, improving soil quality and crop yields.

Helping local communities help themselves

Deforestation isn’t just bad for the planet – it has a devastating effect on people’s lives and livelihoods. Working in tandem with Brynk and Eden Reforestation Projects, the Team ITG Forest has employed 40 people and supported local communities for generations to come.

To date we have helped:

Where we are planting and why

Planting trees is one of the most effective ways for us to help heal our planet from the devastation and destruction caused by carbon emissions. Mangrove trees are excellent carbon sequesters – as long as they’re managed properly and allowed to flourish, they can store carbon in their root system underground. We’re supporting the communities that will manage our forest, ensuring our trees do their absolute best for the planet.
